Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
1. Who we are
ifiredmyagency.com(the “Site”) and the I Fired My Agency course (the “Course”) are operated by GHAX Inc., a New York corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the Course:
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and a unique Google account identifier.
Payment information
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full credit card number. We do receive transaction metadata from Stripe (the last 4 digits of your card, country, subscription status, and a Stripe customer ID) for billing, support, and fraud prevention.
Usage information
We record which lessons you access, when you last signed in, and whether you have downloaded any of the Claude Skills. This helps us improve the Course and provide support.
Technical information
When you visit the Site, our servers automatically log your IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. This is used for security, fraud detection, and aggregate analytics.
Communications
If you email us, we keep the email and any attachments so we can respond and maintain a support history.
3. How we use it
- To deliver the Course and your account access
- To process payments, send invoices, and handle refunds
- To send transactional email (magic-link sign-ins, welcome messages, account notifications)
- To send Course-related updates — e.g. when a lesson is significantly revised
- To answer your support requests
- To improve the Course based on aggregate usage patterns
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third-party advertisers.
4. Who we share it with
We share specific information with the third-party services that power the Course. Each is used only for the purpose listed and is bound by its own privacy policy:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
- Postmark — transactional email delivery (magic-link sign-ins, welcome messages, support replies)
- Neon — Postgres database hosting for account and access data
- Vercel — web hosting and infrastructure
- Better Auth — authentication library (operates within our own database; no third-party data sharing)
- Google OAuth — only if you choose to sign in with Google
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel— advertising measurement only. Tells us which ad campaigns drive sign-ups so we don't waste money on ads that don't work. We never send Meta the contents of any lesson or your account data; see the section below for what is and isn't shared.
We may also disclose information if required by law, valid subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GHAX Inc., our members, or the public.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email before such a transfer takes effect.
5. Cookies & similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies, all of which are necessary for the Site to function:
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in across pages
- Theme cookie — remembers your light / dark mode preference inside the classroom
- Legacy access cookie — used for the early shared-access path; not set for users who sign up the standard way
Analytics & advertising measurement
We use two measurement tools on the Site:
- Vercel Web Analytics — privacy-preserving page-view analytics. No cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel— fires on page views and a small number of action events (when someone starts checkout, completes a purchase, or claims a free Claude Skill) so we can see which Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns drive sign-ups. Meta receives the page URL, your IP address and browser user-agent (as with any web request), Meta's own cookies if you're a Facebook user, and the event names listed above. We do not send Meta your email, name, lesson contents, or account data.
You can opt out of Meta's ad targeting at any time in your Facebook ad settings (facebook.com/adpreferences) or by enabling “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS / a tracker-blocking extension in your browser. Doing so will not affect your access to the Course.
6. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have one or more of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix anything that is inaccurate
- Deletion — ask us to delete your account and personal information (subject to legal retention requirements for billing and tax records)
- Portability — receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format
- Opt-out of non-transactional email — every marketing or update email contains an unsubscribe link; transactional emails (sign-in links, billing notifications) cannot be unsubscribed while your account is active
To exercise any of these rights, email support@ascentrix.io from the email address associated with your account. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as you have an active subscription, plus a reasonable period afterward for support and billing reconciliation. Payment and tax records are retained for the periods required by applicable law (typically 7 years). Anonymous aggregate usage data may be retained indefinitely.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database connections, scoped third-party API credentials, and access controls limiting which employees can view personal information. No system is perfectly secure — if you become aware of a vulnerability, please email support@ascentrix.io.
9. Children
The Course is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information to us, email us and we will delete the relevant data promptly.
10. International users
GHAX Inc. is based in the United States. If you access the Course from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Course, you consent to that transfer.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated by email to your account email address. Your continued use of the Course after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
