For small-firm attorneys · Founder pricing locked in for life

Fire your legal-marketing agency. Own the intake. Run your own pipeline.

The AI-powered playbooks solo and small-firm attorneys are using to stop paying $5,000/mo to a legal marketing agency, $300/mo for a FindLaw or Justia profile, and $300/mo for an answering service that still misses intake calls — and build their own pipeline that captures every consult inquiry, fast.

See exactly how it works

A quick tour of the program — and what's inside the classroom.

What small law firms actually pay for

You spend like a 50-attorney firm.
You should be running it like the practice you actually built.

01

Legal marketing agencies charge $5k–$10k/mo

Scorpion, FindLaw, Justia, LawLytics, PaperStreet — all priced for firms that close $50k cases. If you’re practicing PI, family, criminal defense, or estate, you’re paying for output that doesn’t match what you bring in.

02

Google Ads costs are insane

‘Personal injury lawyer’ — $400+ per click in some markets. ‘DUI attorney’ — $200+. The agency-managed PPC burns through $5k/mo and lands you three intake calls, half of them outside your jurisdiction. Most small firms quietly pull the plug.

03

Lead-gen networks (Avvo, FindLaw, Lawyers.com) own the customer

$40–$200 per lead, shared with 3–5 other attorneys. Whoever calls back in five minutes signs the client. Most solo and small-firm attorneys are still doing intake at noon the next day.

04

Intake calls after 5pm go to voicemail

Or to a $300–$700/mo answering service that takes a name and number and emails you in the morning. The PI claim that called at 8pm went to the next firm by 8:03pm.

05

Your CRM / case-management platform doesn’t do marketing

Clio Grow, Lawmatics, MyCase, PracticePanther — great for managing matters once they’re yours. They don’t bring you new leads, and most of the ‘marketing add-ons’ are basic email blasts.

06

Bar advertising rules feel like a minefield

Solicitation rules, testimonial rules, ‘specialist’ language — every state bar has its own list. Agencies that don’t practice law get this wrong all the time. Your copy is your liability.

What the legal marketing stack costs

The small-firm legal stack, priced like it actually is.

Most solo and small-firm attorneys spend $3,000–$10,000/month combined on marketing — legal-specific agency, Google Ads with management fee, lead-gen networks, intake software, answering service. The course gives you the playbooks to run most of this yourself without the bar-rule landmines.

Legal marketing agency (Scorpion, FindLaw, Justia, etc.)$2,500 – $8,000 / mo
Google Ads (legal keywords) with management %$1,500 – $6,000 / mo + 15–20% mgmt
Lead-gen networks (Avvo, FindLaw Premium, Lawyers.com)$40 – $200 / lead
Intake / lead-tracking software (Lawmatics, Clio Grow)$200 – $700 / mo
Answering service (legal intake)$300 – $700 / mo
Bar-association directory listings$50 – $300 / mo
I Fired My Agency — the playbooks to run most of this yourself$497 / year

Optional CloudPulse ($97/mo) for the after-hours intake voice agent, missed-call text-back, and 60-second consult-form reply — your case-management software (Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther) keeps doing what it’s good at; this just gets more qualified intakes into it.

The small-firm path through the course

Six playbooks. About a weekend each.

These are the lessons most solo and small-firm attorneys ship first. Each stands alone — pick whichever is leaking the most intakes this month.

Your first AI voice agent — the after-hours intake receptionist

PI calls, criminal-defense calls, and family-law intakes don’t happen at 10am Monday. The agent qualifies the call (matter type, jurisdiction, urgency, conflict-check basics), captures the caller’s information, books a paid or free consult, and texts you the recap. The answering service was charging $500/mo to take a message; this books the consult.

Reply to every web lead in under 60 seconds — automatically

Every consult-form submission fires an immediate SMS + email with your bookable consult link. The PI claim that filled out four firms’ forms in an hour signs with whoever replies first. With this on, that’s almost always you.

3-touch drip for leads who didn’t book yet

Half of consult inquiries don’t book on the first reply — they shop, they get scared off, they defer. Day 0, Day 3, Day 7 — three Claude-written messages that recover roughly 1 in 5 of the consults you’d otherwise lose. Set it once. (You review and approve every template before it goes live.)

Local SEO that actually moves the needle

Your Google Business Profile, ranking in the map pack for ‘car accident lawyer [your city],’ ‘DUI attorney near me,’ ‘estate planning lawyer [town].’ Free, about two hours, then it works for years — and it’s the one channel where you can actually outrank Scorpion-managed firms because reviews carry more weight than ad spend.

Ask for the review at the exact right moment

Reviews are the single biggest input to local search rank for ‘[practice area] [city]’ searches. This fires a Claude-personalized SMS the moment a matter closes in your case-management system, with the direct Google review link prefilled. Triples your monthly review rate — and you approve every template against your state’s bar rules first.

Google Ads: the small-budget setup that works

Most legal PPC burns money because it’s broad-matched. The course teaches the small-budget structure: tight exact-match keywords, aggressive negatives (out-of-area, public defender, free legal aid, pro bono), and Claude-written ad copy you control. Run $40–$80/day and beat the $5k/mo agency on cost per signed case.

Antonio Calabrese — founder of Ascentrix and creator of I Fired My Agency

Who built this program

Hi, I'm Antonio.

For 15 years I've run Ascentrix — a digital marketing agency that handles SEO, paid ads, websites, automations, and AI agents for small businesses. Hundreds of local service businesses — real-estate agents, contractors, movers, salons, restaurants, clinics — across more industries than I can count.

In all those years, the thing I’ve watched up close with small firms is solo attorneys writing $5,000+/mo checks to legal marketing agencies, plus $1,500–$6,000 in Google Ads, plus a $500 answering service — for work an AI intake voice agent and a properly-built Google Business Profile would do better, faster, and at 3am. Not “maybe.” Not “in a year.” Now. This weekend. (You control the copy. The bar-rule compliance never leaves your office.)

So I built this course. Every playbook is exactly what my team and I would run for one of our agency clients — but stripped down so you can run it yourself, with the same AI tools we use internally.

If I do my job right, you'll never need an agency again. That's the point.

Why so cheap? You're a founding member. Your $497 funds the next year of lessons, skills, and updates. Once enrollment caps, it goes to $1,997 — and stays there. Founding members keep $497 forever.

Still cheaper than one signed PI consult. Build the after-hours intake voice agent in 45 minutes and the next 10pm call books the consult instead of going to voicemail.

The Working System Promise

Ship a real result in 30 days, or get every dollar back.

I'm putting the risk on me, not you. If you don't have at least one working marketing system shipped within 30 days of signup — an optimized Google Business Profile, a live ad campaign that's actually spending, an AI voice agent answering your missed calls, a real website at your own domain, an automated 60-second lead reply, or any of the other lesson outcomes — email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request — Working System" and I'll refund every penny within 48 hours. No forms, no hoops, no calls.

The one condition: you have to have tried at least one lesson. Show me your draft GBP, your unfinished website, your half-built voice agent — anything. If you followed the steps and the result didn't land, that's on me to fix, and you get every dollar back while I do.

If you bought it and didn't open a single lesson? Then this isn't the right tool for you — and a refund isn't the answer. The course only works if you do.

Real questions from small-firm attorneys

The stuff small-firm attorneys actually ask

Bar advertising rules — does the course handle compliance?
No, and we’re explicit about that. State bar rules vary (solicitation, testimonials, specialist language, disclaimers) and that’s your responsibility. What the course gives you is full control over every word that goes out — every email, every ad, every SMS template is written by Claude and approved by you before it ships. Most state-bar issues come from agencies running copy nobody at the firm reviewed. You don’t have that problem here.
I’m on Clio / MyCase / PracticePanther. Does this replace it?
No — those run your matters, time, billing, and conflicts. The course replaces the marketing layer above them: how the consult gets to your case-management software in the first place. The two work together — your CRM still does intake; this just makes sure more qualified prospects reach it.
Personal injury is brutally competitive. Can a small firm really compete?
Yes — on the dimensions ad spend doesn’t solve. Reviews drive local map-pack rank more than budget does, and the firm that answers a 9pm intake call books the case while the $10k/mo competitor’s answering service is still putting the caller on hold. Most small PI firms we talk to keep their Google Ads spend or drop it, and grow signed cases by running the voice agent, instant reply, and review automations.
Can AI handle a conflict check or intake?
The AI captures the basics (name, contact, matter type, opposing party, jurisdiction, urgency). It doesn’t run your conflict-check — that happens between you and your case-management software when you’re reviewing the intake. The agent flags potential conflicts in its summary so you can clear them before the consult.
Pricing — should I quote fees on the phone?
Up to you. The voice agent script is yours to write (the lesson walks through this). Most small firms have it explain ‘we don’t quote fees on calls, here’s the consult cost,’ which is the same script their human intake person uses. The agent says exactly what you tell it to.
What if I’m already paying an agency?
There’s a dedicated lesson on firing them safely — securing your domain, GBP, ad accounts, Avvo / FindLaw admin access, and lead history before you cancel. Build the replacement in parallel, switch only when it’s verified, then cancel. The intake pipeline never goes dark.

What this doesn’t replace, honestly

Your law license, your malpractice insurance, your bar membership. This is marketing, not the part of your practice that signs retainers or appears in court.

Clio / MyCase / PracticePanther / your case-management software. Those run matters, billing, conflicts, and time. The course just makes sure more consults reach them.

State-bar advertising compliance. You control every word that goes out. The course doesn’t tell you what you can claim; it just speeds up writing what you choose to.

Actually practising law. The AI books the consult. You still take the depositions, draft the motions, and try the case.

Last call · founder pricing

Book the next intake call before voicemail does.

Pick the system that’s leaking the most consults — usually the after-hours voice agent, usually 45 minutes — and ship it this Saturday. The next 9pm call comes in, your office is closed, and the consult is on the calendar by Monday morning.
